i am interested to know of anyone who can give some advise for an exhaust upgrade on a BA XR6 n/a. I have heard of XR6T and XR8 exhausts fitted to the 6 n/a , but i am concerned it may be too loud or irratating when on the highway.....I am not made of money, so brand new full systems are out of the question. i just want a effective, cheap mod.
 OR..... can i remove 1 of the mufflers on a standard system to give a nice note?

yep remove the rear muffler and replace it with straight thru pipe.
and no a factory 6t or v8 exhaust wont be too loud on the highway. |

I wouldn't remove any of the mufflers on the standard system, the few that ive heard didnt sound too good. I would use a factory XR6T/XR8 system. They give a good note, not too loud and they can be picked up very cheap if you look around. Usual price is $50 to $100 on ebay. I bought one for $5 once online haha.

Was the $5 system you bought for a holden ? ....if it was, you were overcharged

ive got a full BF XR6T system and are trying to have the catback system added to me NA, proving difficult my local carline mufflers want $800.. morons
