Hi Fellas, I know there has been a lot of discussion about the AU engines fitted in E series but how much better would a 4 Litre HP Tickford be over a 4 Litre EL Tickford Engine?.
Are they smoother?, More powerfull?. Please enlighten me.

i would say smoother, and less prone to head gasket failure (due to the mls head gasket) and slightly higher compression.

but power wise much the same,
