Engine bay heat in the BA is a real problem IMO ![]()

mm all u can do is maybe get som ef/el style bonnet scoops to remove the hot air..
or get the exhaust heat wraped or HPC coated. also above the firewall between the bonnet there is a rubber sealing strip .. remove this as it allows airflow through the engine bay ![]() you can even go to the extremes of adding some washers to thebonnet hinges so there is a bigger gap at the back of the bonnet

As I recall, the engine runs hot during run in. probably due to a higher friction rate til it settle into the right tolerance. use higher octane fuel during that time, stay away frrom regular u/l petrol otherwise she'll be running to much timing advance=heat feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
