I have two oil dipsticks, one numbered 91DA-6750-AA with a metal handle and the othered numbered 96DA-6750-AA with a plastic handle. Which one fits the standard XH2 engine, and which engine is the other one from?
Are the oil quantities different? Thanks in advance. |

Well, I've got an el (which is essentially the same as the xh) and I have a plastic dipstick.
I would assume this is the same as the XH? If someone would like to correct me if I am wrong?

That's cool, they seem to have the same measurements on them.
More to the point is the fact it went in for rego with one and came out with another. |

I don't like the plastic ones....they are a sloppy fit in the tube......eventually they go brittle and break off.....they are crap in my opinion.

Putting a new ring around where the handle goes into the tube will rectify the sloppy fit problem. The other problem I spose you could fix by not driving the car...
