							Hi guys,
I fitted an ED XR front end to my EB XR, I did a few things different that I would like to share with you guys. First thing I did was relocate the park light to the high beam lense. I didn’t really like the idea of having it in the park light. And I like having the look of all four lights on at night. I also used an EF XR bonnet latch (which I believe is the same as an EF base model latch) and cut about 4cm off it in length. This now allows easier access in opening the bonnet. All I have to do now is paint it all up and its done! Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

i am about to undergo the same mod but an ed xr front to a ed gli. how did you go with changing the wiring or is the same? also what exactly did you have to do to make the park light go where you put it. i am like you and like the idea of all 4 lights on at once.

Hi there, no need to alter the wiring it reaches the high beam light fine. You need to take the high beam light off the bracket and drill a hole the same size as that in the blinker, then using a dremmel cut out the notches to fit and turn the light. I then washed the light with soapy warm water to get the small shaving out. To make replacing the light bulb easier in the future I also cut a square shape out of the plastic surround of the light. It's all straight forward I'll try take some piks of how it looks all done.
