hey, I've got a 5 litre EF, and the reverse lights arent working, aside from a fuse and blown globes, what else could it be? inhibitor switch? are the inhibitor switches on V8's the same as a 6cyl?

Check resistance on the globes, they may look like they are fine but won't work. Otherwise you have the auto selector switch on the gearbox which can also go faulty.

Also, check where the wire loom plugs into that switch.. Plugs on the switch could have come loose or what not.
