I have always had trouble removing the brown plug with two tabs on it that leads to the ignition barrel. Has anyone got some tips on how to split this plug???. I am removing a dash from an El and it is holding me up and I dont really want to break the plug as the loom is going into my Ed.

Any tips would be great.

Disregard my post guys I have managed to get the the plug separated. Was a real pain to do but just needed more force applied.
