ok. i bought my new battery...and i just want to say SPRINTS SUCK. i went in there with my old battery and asked for another one. and the guy said it was a 460 cca. i said i wanted a 550cca and he told me that they get to hot and pack it in. after a bit of discussion i bought the 460 and put it in. whaile fitting it i thought it looked different. later i called the RAA (different matter) and he said i had the wrong battery. sprints gave me 460C cca when i needed the 460F. the difference being the terminals are on the opposite sode of the filler caps. i diddnt notice this as i have reasonably long terminal leads (hmmm excuses, excuses) but he asssured me that it will be fine. he also told me that there is no way a 550cca would ovreheat. man, i fell like a knob.LOL

Yeah I have always used EXIDE 550cca Maintenance free batteries. I purchased my last one from Kmart for $107 when they had their 20% week

i always buy the exide 550h its 550 cca abt $115 from kmart, with 2yr warranty, cranks the el and ef over beutifully.
