I was under the impression the EL GT knobs were a screw on item and brushed aluminium ring on the botto did not go all the way to the shifter stick. genuine items I thought also were momo stamped somewhere too.

I have found this photo of a el gt gear knob.
You got to admit mine looks like it was made in the same factory as the momo. Not bad if you were building a mock up.
