when i boot it in the car, i can smell burning. this only started happening since i got the extractors on. could it be leaking somewhere? or is it still just burning the inside of all the new s**t? it's due for a re-check anyway, but just thought i'd get some ideas first.

Might jsut be the heat coating on the extractors baking on? Might be excess glue stuff that they often put around the seals and that burning off. I know when I recently had new extractors and hi flow cat converter fitted, it smoked for awhle.

twwewer u mean the exhaust cement.
IF you had a exhaust shop put your extractors on they should ahve used a new metal gasket and NO exhaust cement or hi temp silicone the gasket alone is fine it is prolly what tweedle dee tweedle dumb said just the pipes carboning up i would only worry if it goes on for over 1 week

Sure it isn't the tyres ![]() Seriously, just have a quick look around the extractors and make sure nothing is too close or touching ![]() Cheers. |
