its probly been posted before so even a link would be good (cant find anything with search????is it me?) Is it possible/expensive to swap my ef futura to au calipers etc.....

dont think it will work, ef brake upgrades are an a**hole, if you owned an au then all the ba/bf bigger brakes would fit but e series you have to either get hold of gt big brakes from the e series gt or on ebay there are bigger front brake kits but are expensive

There are a few options but it is not a cheap job, there are several companies offering this upgrade but they use specially modded front spindles/uprights to accept the bigger callipers, and you then have to run AU and later offset wheels! see Racebrakes for one company and there is a mob on ebay that sells kits too!
