Hi guys I was working on my brothers ef on the weekend and started motor the revs went up to about 2000 then came down slowly the was a audiable sound coming from the front of engine around the air con area apparntly is is very sluggish climbing hills etc how do you test for a vacum leak

spray area with water hairspray bottle. check vac hose under manifold

Spray it with some carby/throttle cleaner, If it's leaking you'll know about it.
