hi

did the 98 el fords have the same head gasket troubles as the 97 el and older or were the head problems solved in the 98 els

yes.. the late el's still have the composite gasket and still had the same issues the early e series had...

dunno about that, we've got a 97 el since 99, its done 220,000ks and never touched the head....

got an nc fairlane done 290 000 ks never been done goes hard with the mods ive done had no issues besides a blown gearbox
