Any other symptoms? E.g. New oil leaks, burning oil, sudden drop (or rise) in oil level. Being a Monty whats the oil pressure gauge doing?

is sitting at high and its leaking a little water was thinking head gasket but there is no water in the oil

i would say the oil pressure sender is buggered or the wire has come off..
