hey guys
doing some work to my sisters EB falcon. her trans and motor are on the edge of needing a replacement which i have a EF tickford motor and trans for all ready to go in. what im asking is will a EL ecu run a 1993 EB pre smartlock with a EF motor tricked up to EL specs eg dissy not coil packs. as i want to put a tickford ecu in what im planning to do is shift kit the auto 300kpa fuel reg tickford specs and lsd the b**ch (she love that one) cheers jk

will need a chip or similar to turn off smartlock otherwise it should be fine

not to my knowledge, your putting the bbm in and wiring it up to work?

well the ecu is set to change its fuel map for the bbm when the bbm changes its runners so that will give you a problem if you dont have one on there in full working order

mmmm ok so bbm it is then. will check the tec on wiring that up
but this ecu will do fine then

or are you saying if i run a EB/ED ecu i dont havr to worry about the bbm

depends which eb ecu you get, some are pre smart lock, if you run an eb/ed computer you wont need to worry about the bbm just fit the standard log one, in all honesty the computer wont do much at all just run the standard one
