my new pet hate (as my wipers have recently been reminding me) is crap wipers... has anyone found a brand of wipers/a modfication/or something else that will prolong the life of wiper blades?
cause honestly, its got me stuffed. the blades i have on there at the moment are $40 each, its hard to descripe it but they are a frameless design... if you have seen them you will know what i am talking about... they only lasted me about 6months or so, and now they are leave a massive streaky mess right in the middle of my view... cheers...

every 6 months or so i polish the windscreen with normal car polish, seems to work well with stopping streeking... |

Yeah polishing the windscreen helps...as well as seeing the rain just bead off Try cleaning the wind screen and the blade itself...they usually last about a year for me. My first set only lasted me about 6 months, but that was due to crap weather (little rain with dust causing mayhem).
