							Hi Guys Anyone Know If A Tailshaft From A EB V8 Can GO In A ED 6 And Are There Any Differences Between Manual And Auto Tailshafts

							the length im pretty sure is different and the slip yokes are also different sizes as the auto is the same as a C4 (approx 38mm dia) and the manual is the same as an FMX (approx 42mm dia). the rear flange is the same. u can swap the slip yokes over, doing this wont effect the balance that much if any.

							they are exactly the same.and the yolk is the same . just bolt the sucker straight in!!

							the same im not so sure! if thats the case there would not be 7 different models of drive shafts for BA sedans not including current 1 piece models which are for station wagons and most utes. the E series had about 6 different models (alloy and steel) but as i said the slip yoke/flange can be changed over. if the length of the shaft is out of spec +/- 20mm it could either fall out or ram inside ur trannie. quality shafts for ford is my job!!!
