There are 4 bolts holding it on, but one is in a bastard of a spot and I can't get to it, is it supposed to be an easy job and I'm missing something? Also, shouldn't there be three wires running to the hub? As I can only see two... Brake line and handbrake line... This is driving me insane!!! Please excuse my beginner knowledge... Gotta learn somehow ![]()

The sensor is bolted into the backing plate at the rear.

Damn. I swear I posted.... IRS ABS sensors are mounted to the diff pumpkin, above the CV shaft. The sensor rings are on the CV shaft.

Sorry I didn't put the IRS pic up, I am so used to people asking for a live axle.

Awesome! Found the sensors. They had a fair amount of mud and crap on them. Gave them a good wipe down. But unfortunately the abs light is still on.. Have it booked in for a road worthy tomorrow and have asked them to fix it... Unless there was something else I had to do???
Cheers all for advice/help

so i think i may have found the issue.
Attachment: correct me if im wrong, but shouldn't there be a small magnet coming out of the base of the sensor? like the front ones? both rear sensors were like this...

So turns out all sensors were fine and the abs/traction control unit was done for. So mechanic sourced one from repco for about 390.. COUGH! Mind you, better than what ford quoted at 1200 apparently
![]() At any rate, new module installed an lights went out. So alls well that ends well. Thanks again for your help with this one
