Mate has a AU XR8 Series 1 and she said she drives in 2nd gear and it pops out - All other gears drive ok - Anyone had the same problem - Clutch or Gearbox - Is it just old tranny fluid - How expensive to fix roughly ???

needs a new second gear or a slider.
or possibly both.

its a $500+ job if you take it to a gearbox repair shop.

for a $150 fix if you remove it and and take it to them.

It's Not a clutch issue.

k - the owner said it needs a new syncro - is that a big job too
