Just a quick one...... Do the Police Computers in the EF / EL drink more Fuel then the standard ones ?

Didn't think computers drank fuel. But maybe since it's a cop one its to wash down all the donuts.
Seriously though, I don't think they will raise your fuel consumtion. |

i've been more inclined to give mine more of a boot with my tickford ECU, so it might indirectly cause more fuel consumption

cool, the only reason i ask is because they rev higher at lower Km's i have been told.

no! this would be that the overdrive does not lock up untill 60kmhr thats all for a car to rev higher at differnt rd speed would need a diff diff and or wheels

I'd expect slightly worse fuel consumption as IIRC the box doesnt change into 4th before 60km/hr?
I'd say the difference would be a piss in the wind tho...

I'd say the difference would be a piss in the wind tho... correct mart - i used to watch my fuel consumption on the T/C like a hawk, and the tickford ECU slightly bumped up my inst L/100km - eg before it may have been 12.5L/100km, with ticky was closer to 13L/100km - etc!
