I was thinking of installing a cold air intake into my au ute, but before I do I'd just like to know if it's a good idea or not?? Cheers |

More cold air is always good just don't waste your money on a growler or something like that. Look at some other cars on here to get some ideas then make up your own custom one.

The one I'm looking at is a mace engineering group and I'll definitely have a look, thanks for that!

Mace engineering are good I'm going to get an intake spacer from them. They know what they're doing so I'd get one off them to go with their cai.

Cheers Grab yourself a BF F6 airbox, these have and additional intake that fits in behind the headlight. Cheers for tips guys, much appreciated! I've seen that pipe on ebay but it was a pick up only in QLD so I didn't bother but I was thinking of doing something like that! I've already got my exhaust, extractors and cam done so I hope this intake will help a little and look better too!

Improving the intake will help it breath and improve the performance of the other mods you have done.
