I wish! Na I blew the lsd that was in it so I brought another 2nd hand lsd, maybe 3 months later (now) its acting like an open diff and has been making a bit of noise.. I dont want to keep buying worn out 2nd hand diffs, may as well get something that will definitely handle getting hammered, a re-con seems to be around the same price as getting a 9" set up...

the weight of the heavier rotating mass of a 9" will zap away a bit of your performance unless your pushing 500+ hp then you wouldn't notice..
but the bw diff is pretty damn strong and can take 500hp, your problem is your using second hand diffs that are probably already worn out.. a fully rebuilt bw diff is around $500-$1000 a custom 9" modified to suit the 4 link suspension with decent diff gears rebuilt center will cost around $2000.. |

Or throw the LSD in the bin and fit a proper performance centre like a Lokka or a trutak...
This will fix all your worn out problems and you can fit a Lokka yourself with no reshimming needed (needs to go into a std hemisphere but, not an LSD)... Or a trutak will need to be shimmed to check for mesh pattern... I've had a Lokka and it wasn't for me... But was fantastic for driving hard... One day when I have spare money I'll be fitting a trutrak... this may be some years away but... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271265812785 ... 1423.l2649 Cheers, Tim

you can even get billet axles for the standard bw diff before fitting a 9 inch. people are running 9s down the 1/4 on stock diffs with upgraded axles!
