will a ea 4 speed auto work in my au because 4th gear is noisy as hell but I have a good ea box.?

should

however check that the 'nose' of the converter fits in the rear of the crank. we have the 4sp out of my EB series 1 in a AU series 2 .... which will shortly have a AU series 1 diff fitted [hopefully that fits lol ]
