How do you get the front bracket on an el falcon power steering pump off? seems bloody tight. Don't want to bash it incase I create more probs. Help.

The whole bracket as I'm replacing the head gasket.

If I remember rightly, there are 3 bolts holding on the steel bracket at the side and on the Aluminium Bracket there are 3 at the front and an additional 2 on the side. You may need to give it a light tap to shift the Aluminium Bracket.

Thanks SWC . I'll give it another go. Although I have smacked it a couple of times with a hemmer and wooden driver. Got minimal movement. Fingers crossed.
