Hey guys I'm new to this forum so just like to say hey guys. I'm also wanting to get any info about bolting a bf or fg gear box into my ed xr6 but keeping my 4.0 L tickford motor in there how much work would be involved into putting the gear box and bolting it in to my falcon

I assume that you are talking auto.

These are wired different to the E series/AU 4 speed Auto.

Also 5 spped and 6 speed auto can't be controlled by the E series/AU ECU. Get a late model AU BTR and use that.

change the bellhousing to E series as well [unless ya hava AU ticky motor]
