Hi guys,

Just joined the forum. I have recently purchased a XG ute and it has developed a ticking or a chain rattle sound like noise.

It comes and goes while driving and it sounds like its sticking, it will go away after a few revs and sometimes it stays for longer. Also will happen when reversing up kerb especially.

I thought it was lash adjusters and I replaced them with no luck. I just want to pin point the problem and fix it asap I am out of ideas can it be chain tensioners, guides?
