							Where would i find a engine identification number for a BF 6 cylinder none turbo (checking to make sure I'm dealing with either a BF or BA), and what's the difference in the number so i can so i can identify from a BF to BA...Many thanks....Regards Magger.

							Hello, 
				Not sure what you are looking for here, but get the VIN and do a REV's check. The number is under the bonnet, passenger side of the Car. Look about 6 inches in front of the Gas strut. There is a cut-out in the Guard. The BA and F's looked very similar, and both had Mark 1 and 2.

							Engine number is stamped on the drivers side rear of block, can be a PITA to read. Usually is part of the VIN on Falcons.  Usually Will be the start of the JG*****

							BF is still the same. you may need some emery paper and paint to read the number in the block
