							Hi Everyone,
Due to having an issue with my 1st cylinder misfiring on my BA XR6, I am working through a list of items, and would like to know where the VCT Solenoid is location on the engine. I am fairly sure it's easily removed but I don't really know where to look. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! |

There are two of them and they are under the rocker cover.
Item number 27 x 2 Attachment: Engine.jpg From what I have just read in the WM it isn't just a simple unbolt and instal. Have you made sure that it ISN'T the coils or plugs? They can have problems with the TPS as well. |

Is the Rocker a hard thing to get off? Probably have to remove the intake system and the throttle body and stuff yeah? |

							Sorry,
Checking back through some of my old posts. Yeah, the plugs and coils have been replaced with brand newies. It shouldn't tube the TPS because a power balance revealed the misfire exists in one cylinder, the S would just cause unstable idle, not a misfire? Right? |
