Can anyone tell me if Ba/Bf i6 run an engine backing plate with the t56 trans. I just pulled the old t5 and clutch of the back of my au and have noticed the input shaft sticks out 3 or 4 mm further past the bell housing than on the t56. Not refitting the backing plate would even this up. is it ok not to run without the backing plate.
