Circuit breaker is opening because it is faulty and or headlights have been upgraded with out a relay being fitted to high beam leave hi beam on for a while and you should hear circuit breaker clicking

Yeah I had a similar issue with my XH UTE as at night I would be driving with my high beams on and after 3-5mins all my lights would go out and it would be pitch black .... I would then turn off my high beams and between 10-20 sec they would come back on again ... So yes, I solved this by listening to that clicking noise from the circuit breaker which was located on the left hand side under the radiator header tank ... 30amp I think it was from memory ... I just picked it up from my local supercheap auto store ... straight off the shelf

No a circuit breaker is to protect a circuit and is fitted in series with power circuit Relay is a electric switch and is used to take the load of a circuit Google is your friend You should already have a relay for hi beam in under bonnet fuse box. Have lights been upgraded. If not change circuit breaker {USERNAME} wrote: Thanks for the help ill have a look on the weekend is a circuit breaker the same as a relay
