could anyone please tell me which way does the thermostat sit.
i changed my thermostat but now my car Won't start on gas and the heater does not work.
please help!!!!

I've never heard of it sitting in a particular spot. Not on the 6's anyway.

Sounds like you have other issues rather than the placing of a thermostat.

well except the sensing side sits inside the manifold and if you have the factory air-bleed style, that part goes at the top.
