I was going to take them from the EF, but then I realised I never installed any in that one ![]() 1st door i open in the morning is the back drivers .. . . ... chuckin me work bag, then grab drivers ![]() hahahahaha on the EF ![]() think me next mod 'might' be fitting some small driving lights at the rear next to the tank ![]() |

{USERNAME} wrote: nup never done one........... yet! will have to chase it up. It's a pain in the backside with how tiny the LEDs are. Would be easier if you have the right tools, but I only have through-hole soldering equipment. {USERNAME} wrote: ground clearance at rear. lpg tank cover mounting bolts is where i was thinking of mounting 'light' bracket. should be [?] enough ground clearance for the lights under there ![]() Depends if you tow huge amounts of weight or speed up for speed humps or take it off-roading. If not then there's heaps of room, the wagons sit plenty high at the rear. |

I have more than that - temperature controlled soldering stations and such, but it's still a pain doing SMD... Wondering if I should attempt it with the clock though, I do have some spare SMD LEDs on the bench {USERNAME} wrote: for now it will have the smaller 65Ltr lpg tank & now and again towing a car trailer. has some used 1 tonner springs fitted. mine was originally a bit lower. don't speed up for the speed bumps around here . . . . . . don't slow down either ![]() ![]() ![]() No problems then, should be heaps of room for some stealth lighting ![]() |
