Hey everyone I'm new to Ford's n have picked myself up a NA ba falcon rolla ,I have a mate saying I can't put a na bf motor n comp in because I would have to change pedal box n a bunch of stuff for it to work ,is he right ??

Engine was pretty much the same and could be used. you would need to use the engine loom off the BA engine onto the BF engine.

Comp/PCM/ECU/wiring was different enough between BA and BF to cause headaches, so the BF comp won't fit

my understanding is it will fit but you would have to change looms over as there are differences between the models re wiring [BA have two wiring connector's at the PCM where as the BF have 3]. you could set up the BF motor/box as a 'stand alone', i think?. i'll be putting a BF motor/box into a BA using the BA looms etc.
