Not sure I last I checked everything was sparking, it's not firing at all now, when I turn the key it is a slow crank, there's been a new battery, I'm thinking starter motor

have you stuck a battery charger on the battery? coz as you keep trying to start it the battery will go flat. i'd say it's possibly a weak spark, which can be leads, coil or dizzy. have you done any work on dizzy, cam, timming etc lately?.

Yeah they can be a b**ch. Mine was changed recently as well. With mine the car would not either start or just randomly turns off while driving or idling.
Went through hell checking everything to work out what it could be changing relays etc.
