im looking to convert from EB1 dash to the EB smartlock dash so i can have smartlock, and a later ecu for tweecer compatibility...

what features, apart from smartlock, were added between EB and ED V8s???

what problems may i run into?

Smartlock is the only thing that will cause you any problems. EEC programing and general dash features are all the same otherwise.

The BAP sensor was dropped from EB II. Not sure what pin 45 does otherwise. Nothing listed for it in the Ford manual.
