EF/EL?

there two 'clippy' things that stop it falling down, pull in the sides to disengage these, then yank it out.

Yeah you pull the top sides in to release the stops, let it lean forward a bit then pull UP on one side at a time to release the hinge pin from the clips at the base. Dont yank forward or you may break the clips.
