ok so i have just got myself a set contra mags for my EA, anyways the problem is that they fit perfectly over the studs but are too wide and are rubbing on the inside of the suspension and stuff. I've read few posts on here and i'm assuming that these wheels are for an AU or BA, which basically means i'm screwed cos spacers are illegal yes???
does anyone know of any mods i can do to make these fit or should i just cut my loses and sell them to get proper EA mags?!! 
The wheels are front: 225/45Z R17 Rear: 235/45 R17 |

yeah there illegal but if u gotta use them just use them. ive got them. if u don't attract attention to you cops don't usually look for spacers. well i know they don't here in adelaide.

spacers are.. HUB ADAPTERS ARE NOT! try tempe tyres in sydney, they'll ship them to you im sure, $200 for 4. |

just out of curiosity has anyone broken the studs on their adaptors before.
Because i have twice. The bolts are s**t. Anyone else have problems. Also did people cut their orginal studs down to suit or what?

i never snapped studs on mine and i have flogged the guts out of my car like drivin it hard round corners and nothing has happened yet
i said a while ago there are cheap ones around

does anyone know any brand names of these adaptors, i've tried a few place now and every tyre shop tells me the same thing either they dont exsist or they are illegal
i might just have to do some serious research and post some url's of any finding i come across. cheers for the replys though!!!!!

"the tyre factory" has them ask for adaptors to fit ba wheels to e series car

bsa wheels supply them too! Theres no real brand name for em either. They rnt illegal and are only bringing the track of the vehilce out to where it should be.
