my wagon has the s**t CFI engine in it and the fuel pump, when the car is running, is quite loud. like a humming. whats the go? i mean the car runs fine but its just so noisy.

Well I guess it needs replacing then. I'd replace the pump and filter at the same time.
Or try some Nulon Total Fuel System cleaner or something.

Do you need to replace your pump if it emits a high frequency sound during pump opperation?
Its only noticable while idleing and outside the car..

nothin wrong with noisey fuel pumps, mine in the panelvan sounds as if its gonna take off into space, still pisses on ricers , been noisey since i had it

Is it as loud as some of the old Commodores? If it is then I guess I'd be worried because I've never heard a Ford fuel pump as loud as those.

Mines not as loud as the old holden ones, but its enough to make me wanna change it eventually.
Anyone know how much they cost? (NEW)
