I just had an idea, is it possible to take the fuel injection system, off say an EB v8 windsor and fit it to a clevo? or is the firing order etc different?
it surely couldnt be too difficult if you made up a custom manifold with a throttle body, and grafted the windsor stuff onto it??
just a thought!

why not go for something like a holley pro-jection system?

failing that you could allways get injector mounts added to the inlet manifold, find a holley style EFI throttlebody and hook it up like that

as for the firing order....... just swap the injectors around to match the cleveland firing order (if that makes sense)

so you reckon it could be an easy fuel injection system?
id probably never do it, but just an idea for the future maybe, to get all the s**t of a wrecked injected 8 and go from there?

Firing order is the same but that's a minor detail.
Check out my ute on my WWW.

might have to do some serious research on doing this. could be very cool!
and i dont think it would be too difficult if approached properly

You need 5.0 or 5.8 fuel rails. 460 EFI F-series TFI-IV distributor will go straight in otherwise use 5.8 one and swap the gear to cleveland one.
Use 5.0L harness and EEC and suitably sized MAF for your desired power level.
If you need this for your 400 give me a PM as I can organise the mods to your intake for the injectors/rails.

Also check out the link to Thomas' Pantera on my website. He has used a TFS-351 intake modded to fit.

yeah that would be awesome to do, wont be for a while tho. my manifold for my 400 is an edelbrock one, not to sure if they have injector bosses in them, have to have a look. my XE was previously an EFI 6 so i have all the return fuel lines etc already there? might be too small tho.
