Firstly i was wondering if there was any difference bettween the EB and ED V8's?
Also is there any difference in the XR8 motor to the V8 in the fairmont's? Thanks Kermy! |

nope they are all the same except for the EB GT and the ED Sprint.

Any difference between XR8 models would be limited to the exhaust and maybe the ECU maps. This statement holds true for EF/EL (with exception of ELXR8 s2) but unsure of EB/ED?

Yeah even the EB/ED XR8's run the same EEC's as the standard V8's, we saw some small differences in the EF/EL models in terms of EEC and exhaust, but nothing engine wise until the EL2 XR8's.

yeh you's are right, no difference in the EB-ED V8's other than GT and Sprint! just found a write up, i think in V8's stay the same till EL s2 4.9 said!!
