hey all i put the s pack cluster into my ea last night and was gonna follow the tech doco at work to wire everything up,but it all worked without me touching a thing,why is this??
the cluster is out of an ea s pack,and my dash and looms and everything are out of an eb gli wagon with no tacho.Just wonderin why it all works

all the wiring is there. its just plug and play for that cluster.
although u will have to get an oil pressure sender for the oil presure to read correctly (the gauge is prolly past the 7 mark when the engine is running now).

yeah i ordered an oil pressure sender from repco before i put it in,how come theres the doco on upgrading gl cluster with s pack if its just plug and play??

coz ea's and early eb's dont have all the wiring... it was when they went to eb with smartlock and abs etc that the main looms had all the wiring
