A question for those in the know.Is the mesh filter located under the solenoid or in the converter itself.As I would like to check and clean it out as I had to clean out the idle circuit again for the black muk.

It is in the lock off solenoid where the gas enters convertor. Undo the 4 screws and it is a small disk, can be cleaned with petrol and reverse blown with air.

dont forget to turn the tank off and run the line dry before you remove it

Ok, thanks i might remove the lock off solenoid itself and work on it.I will only have to remove the inlet and outlet pipes etc.,
