hey guys i know the EF ecu will plug right into an EA...or is it the EL...either way...would the ecu still work without smartlock..or would that haveto be installed as well....in the longrun im planning to put the BBM on my EA along with the thermo fans and the ecu may take alot of hassles out of doin this
any info on any of these things would be much appreciated...and i know theres heaps of links about the BBM and thermofans...so yeh...

EL will plug into an EA loom but will need to do something about smartlock. Would probably need the BBM on there first as well.

EF EEC-V wont fit unless you chang the engine loom over - EF has 104 pins, EA/EB/ED/EL has 60 pins. All 6 cyl of course.
