				yes use a LED with a resistor inside the factory bulb holder. head over to thetech docco page and u will find this http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=1 has all the info u want only i suggest to calcu late the resitor u need use 14volts as that is what the alt produces when running

							uh just to clarify, its easier to use the ready fit leds , but yes u can use a led and resistor no worrys so long as you know what your doing. you need to drop the 13.8V line to about 3V so you need a resistor to dissipate 10.8V and then u can work out current thru it to get the value of the resistor

							why dont you just buy LED wedge bulbs?
 
				I paid a few dollars for 10 blue ones on ebay.
