Fairmonts and Fairlanes didn't, unless optioned with the Premium sound system, (and I don't know if they were even able to be optioned in this way, except maybe the Fairlane Concorde)

Fairmont Ghia's and LTD's all had this surround. |

easiest way to mod your existing surround is by using a soldering iron! just go nice and slow, and you should come out with a nice, smooth edge! takes a bit of time, but looks good in the finish!

I just picked one up from a wrecker today for $45. Gave it a scrub and it's just like new. I contemplated cutting the orig one up, but it's so much easier to get one all ready to go. Genuine Ford quoted $126. (I'm mounting my UHF radio below). Not sure if you know, but they all changed to the EL style. ciggie lighter outside the ashtray. They fit just the same.

I got one a couple of months ago for $90.00.

I found with mine, the box labeled 'laser cut', that Ford get a single and laser cut the bastard into a double anyway. |
