Does anyone know how i can run a flashing LED up to constant 12V power. I basically want it to turn on when i lock the doors and off when they're unlocked.

isn't that what the smartlock light does? i know it isn't just an unlock-lock thing but why do you want one of them? fake alarm system? if so, just switch it!

If you have factory central, open your front passenger side door, slide the rubber boot off where the door lock wires go thru the door jam, and locate the Yellow/Black wire. This gets negative 12V when the doors get centrally locked. Connect this wire to the negative side of a 12V LED, supply the Positive lead of the LED with constant 12V, and Bob's your uncle
