Hey, ive just had a read of the smartlock doc, and i realised that my BEM should be grey, coz my car is an ex-taxi... not black Also, could it be my crank position sensor??!!? thanx LuLu

if a black BEM is slotted in it won't make much of a difference for testing purposes anyways!

yeah EF GLI's had grey but black seems also to be common enough .. dunno what the difference is..
