There is a magazine just out at news agents and Jaycar put out by Silicone Chip magazine called 'Performance Electronics for Cars'. It's a pretty good read (if you're into this stuff), explains clearly how a lot of engine management systems work and how to trick the electronics.

Yeah the second one is out now, the first release has been around for about 6yrs.
