							I guess he means so he doesnt split the block. 
 
				I guess that you would be safer to get a dart block and build the rest of the engine around that. Or something, i dont know.

							The factory engineering rating on the early 302 blocks is 550hp. Late blocks are 350hp rated.
 
				Of course many put out a lot more than that and survive. What do you mean by safe? Pete.  |
