just wondering it may have been covered (i can't use the search thing gives me the s**t) would the Intake Manifold of a ef/el/au fit on the mpfi with out add a bbm setup like i m cooking something up and just wondering if it would work.

You want to put a BBM manifold on with the BBM disabled?

yeah that is it, would it work (like would the car run as if it was normal mpfi ea manifold?) or would the air flow be disrubted with it being a e-seires one with the throttle body in the middle.what exactly does bbm does?

it will fit but may not work. the EF and EL ecu have different fuel maps to the EA 1

But he doesnt want to use the BBM mechanism. If you lock the runners on long it will be close enough to run from ea-ed mpefi tune.
